Custody OfficerThe role of the Custody Officer is to monitor, supervise, and maintain custody of prisoners in the Marysville Jail. Marysville custody officers also assist patrol officers and local outside agencies with bookings, transports, and arrests.

The top scoring candidates from the written exam and physical agility test and will participate in an oral board interview.
Candidates, who successfully complete steps 1-2 as summarized above, will be placed on an eligibility list and may be invited to participate in pre-employment testing as a candidate for Custody Officer. The eligibility list is valid for one-year for the date of adoption and may be extended.
At a minimum, pre-employment testing will include the following:
